I’m
Blyth
McManus, and I am the principal for Aerie Design, LLC. I
come from a family of designers
and artists, and I still proudly use my father’s
1920’s era drawing
table for sketching and hand drafting. Formally degreed in Interior
Architecture and Design, I also draw from my extensive professional
experience in the trades, home furnishings, and retail to
create a
well rounded
design service.
Since
opening my first
lifestyle store in 1989, I have actively
promoted the benefits of healthy living
environments. My devotion to
creating effective and comfortable space landed me TV appearances as a
holistic expert as well as coverage in local magazines for my work in
Feng Shui. In addition, I am honored to have served as guest
speaker
for a wide range of audiences including Beebe Medical Center in Lewes,
DE; Delaware Technical and Community College; and the Jewish Seaside
Community.
I
will work in harmony
with you to effectively translate the design
concept into the physical space. Vigilance during the
installation or
construction process and solid followup after completion assists with
the successful expression of your ideas.
To
keep my approach
